Our staff goes all out to be sure your child is prepared and comfortable.

Labs:

In office:

• Rapid strep test
• Rapid flu/covid tests
• Mono and RSV tests
• Urinalysis
• Hematocrit (finger prick)
• Glucose
• Pregnancy test
• Lipid panel

To Lab:

• Bilirubin
• CBC and Blood Cultures
• All blood, urine, and stool tests as indicated

We use Quest and LabCorp and will fill out a requisition for you to take to the lab, both of which are located within a half mile from the office. For stat labs we often use Children’s Hospital of Atlanta (multiple locations), where we can get results very quickly.

Ear piercing:

We use a special sterile technique using hypoallergenic earrings and offer 3 different starter earring sets: gold, silver, or crystal. They are attractive and will not cause an allergic reaction. The procedure is quick and easy, with minimal discomfort and can be done at any age above 6 months. The earrings can be replaced after 6-8 weeks, but many patients choose to keep them in longer. We do offer this service for our patients. Call for an ear-piercing appointment. The fee is $95.00.
