Network Enhancement Update

Comcast was unable to complete their scheduled work to enhance the network today. They will resume tomorrow and are working as efficiently as possible to finish within the day.

Please note: Service outages are expected during this time. We will notify everyone immediately once we receive confirmation that the work has been completed.

These outages affect more than just internet access—they impact our phone systems, electronic medical records (EMR), and access to critical medical information. During these periods, we must revert to paper downtime procedures, which slows our ability to process patients efficiently. As a result, you may experience delays in service, and at times, you may not be able to reach us by phone.

Despite these challenges, your care remains our top priority. Our clinical team is fully prepared to continue providing safe and effective care using established downtime protocols. While the process may take longer, we are committed to ensuring that every patient receives the attention and treatment they need.

This disruption is not isolated to us—it is affecting many local businesses in the surrounding area. For example, it took 30 minutes today to make a bank deposit due to repeated system outages, and other practices are experiencing similar issues. Comcast is aware of the impact and assures us this work is necessary to prevent a much larger problem in the future.
