Our Providers

Many of our providers work part time in an effort to balance work and home life. When we work we work very hard, and when we are home we really enjoy spending time with our families. We can’t promote and help you find balance if we don’t practice it ourselves!

Jane Wilkov, MD, FAAP

Dr. Wilkov graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 1982. After completing her residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at Egleston and Grady Hospitals she entered private practice in 1986. Dr. Wilkov founded Dekalb Pediatric Center in 1992. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and now spends much of her time doing administrative work, teaching, and supporting all aspects of the practice. Over a more than 35 year career she has enjoyed watching many of her patients grow and mature into healthy young adults. It is a special treat seeing so many bring their own children to the practice! She and her husband live in Decatur, spend weekends at Lake Oconee, love to spend time with their three adult children, and to travel at every opportunity.

Deborah Pollack, MD, FAAP

Dr. Pollack joined the practice in August of 1997 after completing medical school at the University of Alabama and pediatric residency at Emory Affiliated Hospitals. She is an avid reader and adds a tremendous amount to the practice by keeping us all updated on the latest pediatric medical advances. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Pollack and her husband are active members of the Decatur community and can often be seen around the neighborhood walking their dog. Dr. Pollack enjoys Pilates, dance, and keeping up with her college aged son and twin daughters.

Melinda Shelton, MD, FAAP

Dr. Shelton joined the practice in September, 2001. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Emory University School of Medicine, and trained in Pediatrics at Emory Affiliated Hospitals. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is now working one day per week in the office, as she and her husband spend much of their time with their three children, traveling, and volunteering in the community.

Rebecca Kolesky, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kolesky, a California native, joined the practice in September 2005 after moving to Decatur from Chicago. She completed her undergraduate and medical education at the University of California San Diego and her pediatric residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University in Chicago. She worked in the neonatal intensive care unit for a year before moving to Atlanta and beginning private practice. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Kolesky, her husband, and three sons are active members of the Decatur community. When she is not busy keeping up with her boy's activities she enjoys walking their dog, working out, and cooking.

Andrew Godfrey-Kittle, MD, FAAP

We are pleased to announce the addition of our first male physician! Dr. Godfrey-Kittle comes to us after completing a year as Chief Resident in Pediatrics at Emory Affiliated Hospitals. He graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, then from the Medical College of Georgia before completing his Pediatric training at Emory. Dr Godfrey-Kittle, a Decatur native and Decatur High graduate, lives in Decatur with his wife and two sons. He enjoys being out and about in the community and can often be found on the soccer field or at an Atlanta United game. We are delighted that he chose to join our team.

Tiffany Mangal, MD, FAAP

We are excited to welcome Dr. Mangal to DPC! An Atlanta native, Dr. Mangal earned her undergraduate degree from Columbia University before returning to Georgia to earn her medical degree from Emory University in 2014. She completed her pediatric training at Georgetown University and then began private practice in the DC area, while her husband completed his training. In 2019 they relocated to Columbus, Georgia and while her husband fulfilled his duties at Fort Bragg Dr. Mangal worked in a private practice and enjoyed spending time with her 2 young children. She is excited to settle back in Atlanta with her husband and children and begin the next phase of her career, Dr. Mangal is board certified in pediatrics, is passionate about patient education and building relationships with her patients. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with her young family.

Hannah Addis, RN, CPNP

Hannah comes to us in March 2017 after spending over a year working in a pediatric practice in Covington. She graduated from Emory UniversitySchool of Nursing with her RN degree, and in 2014 with her Masters Degree as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practioner. Hannah adds her experience along with a passion for patient education to our practice. She is a native Georgian, and now resides with her husband and two year old daughter in Decatur. She enjoys cooking, vacationing at the beach and walking through the neighborhood with her family.

Mallory Gray, RN, CPNP

We are excited to announce the addition, in April 2020, of Mallory to our team. She grew up in Roswell, Georgia and graduated from Clemson University with a BSN degree, then Emory University with her Masters/PNP degree. Mallory worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and is delighted to be back home, providing care and education to families and children of all ages. Mallory enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, exploring Atlanta, and traveling, when possible!

Kelsey Abbott, RN,CPNP

Kelsey, a native of Austin Texas, joined our team in September 2021. After graduating from Emory University with a BSN degree Kelsey worked in the Piedmont Hospital neonatal nursery for four years. She then completed her Masters/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from Duke University. Kelsey and her fiancé live in Brookhaven. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities, especially horseback riding. At work she has a special interest in lactation support, is a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and a valuable resource for all of our breastfeeding moms.

Caroline Zirbel, RN,CPNP

Caroline, an Atlanta native, grew up in the Decatur area, graduating from The Paidea School, then Emory University with a BSN degree. She worked as a nurse at Children's Health Care of Atlanta, while obtaining Masters degrees in both Public Health and Nursing at Emory. After certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Caroline worked for the Department of Public Health as a Child Health Coordinator doing school based physicals. She brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to our team. She and her husband live in Decatur and enjoy traveling. They (and their dog!) recently enjoyed a four month trip living in a converted cargo van travelling out West.

Sara Holmes, RN, CPNP

Sara, a Florida native, graduated in 2016 from the University of Central Florida with a BSN degree and then relocated to Atlanta to begin work as a nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at CHOA. While continuing to work as a critical care nurse Sara completed her Masters Degree at University of Alabama, Birmingham to become a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Sara brings her skills and knowledge, along with a passion for patient education and primary care to DPC. In her free time Sara enjoys baking, reading, and traveling. A recent favorite trip was to Costa Rica, and she is looking forward to an Iceland adventure this fall.

Lesley Cogburn, RN, CPNP Emeritus

Lesley spent 27 years at DPC, sharing her knowledge, passion and kind heart with so many of our patients, touching us all in so many ways. We wish her and her family the best as they settle down in Lesley's hometown of Gastonia, North Carolina.
