All of our physicians are board certified in pediatrics. Together we have over 75 years of practice experience and 20 kids of our own, from whom we are constantly learning. We all share the same basic practice philosophy and work together as a team to best serve you. |

Jane Wilkov MD, FAAP |
|
Dr. Wilkov graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 1982. After completing her residency and chief residency in Pediatrics in 1986 at Egleston and Grady Hospitals she entered private practice. Dr. Wilkov founded Dekalb Pediatric Center in 1992. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and has enjoyed watching many of her patients grow and mature into healthy young adults. She has learned a lot from her own three children who have grown up with the practice. Two have left the nest for college, while her youngest is still at home finishing high school. She has a special interest in nutrition and weight management. |

Deborah Pollack, MD,FAAP |
|
Dr. Pollack joined the practice in August of 1997 after completing medical school at the University of Alabama and pediatric residency at Emory Affiliated Hospitals. She is an avid reader and adds a tremendous amount to the practice by keeping us all updated on the latest pediatric medical advances. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Pollack and her husband are active members of the Decatur community and reside there with their son and twin daughters.

Michal Loventhal, MD, FAAP |

Dr. Loventhal joined the practice in August, 2000. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughter, at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. Dr. Loventhal is Board Certified and married to a pediatrician. They both grew up in the greater Atlanta area and keep very busy with their three young daughters. |

Melinda Shelton, MD, FAAP |

Dr. Shelton joined the practice in September, 2001. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Emory University School of Medicine, and trained in Pediatrics at Emory Affiliated Hospitals. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is now working one day per week in the office, as she and her husband spend much of their time with their three young children. |
